i watched her on the park bench
black sweatshirt; torn, faded, trendy relic.
the punk bangs, the rings and rubber bracelets, she is trying to become something.
she isn't natural, she smokes a camel in all the wrong ways.
she sucks it in, anxious to be seen smoking it.
and blows it out anxious to be seen exhaling.
she wants mystique
but she isn't doing it in the film noir way
she has no secret, she has no love them and leave them.
she has desperation
she has hot topic.
